June 2025 - Present

Working in the Abitua Lab to assist in the development of a Python-based pipeline for light sheet microscopy image analysis of embryonic cell behaviors during morphogenesis in Notobranchius furzeri. Collaborated with the DeWitt Lab to develop and integrate mathematical models of cell movement patterns to the pipeline, in order to further understand the unique disperse-and-aggregate behavior.

Undergraduate Mentee

Neuroscience Undergraduate Reading Program

March 2025 - Present

NURP is a program that pairs undergraduate students with graduate/postdoc mentors to review & discuss primary neuroscience research literature, culminating with students giving a talk about their topic of investigation each quarter. Through this program, I strengthened my scientific communication skills, ability to critically evaluate and contextualize evidence, and connected coursework to current research. Most recently, I focused on methods of invasive neural interfacing for restoring motor & somatosensory function after SCI.

Allen Representative

Synaptech RSO

June 2025 - Present

In this role, I attend regular meetings to relay club progress information to maintain our affiliation with the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering. I also participate in Synaptech as a member of a project that aims to develop an adaptable method for decoding EEG signals and use them to assist users in daily computing tasks.

Professional
